I don't think Ashlee looks like an Avril, Avril is so different than Ashlee in all the aspects, excepts they're pop/rock singers that is the one thing that I see of their similar, these next album would be a great thing! I can't wait in August I will posting the single Leaked!

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Engaged?

Sometimes, the universe decides that common decency needs a good punch in the junk, and, when that happens, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz get engaged.

Nothing's been confirmed, so hold off on having your head explode for now, but sources tell Pop Crunch that Wentz proposed to Simpson backstage at Live Earth before he performed with his Fall Out Boy bandmates.

"Ashlee wasn't expecting it at all; it was a total surprise," says the source. "Pete whipped out a big engagement ring, dropped down on one knee and asked Ashlee to be his bride. Ashlee says it was romantic, sexy - and that she said 'yes' right away."

They probably even shared a handkerchief when both of their mascara started running.

There are also some rumours that Simpson is pregnant, but this is most likely untrue, thank the lord.

On the bright side of the nauseating nuptials, the couple is allegedly looking to avoid the overblown ridiculosity of sister Jessica's wedding to Nick Lachey.

"Ashlee and Pete are desperate to keep the engagement quiet for as long as they can so they can make wedding plans in peace," says a pal of Ashlee's. "All she wants is a simple ceremony with her family, his family and a handful of people."

They'd better be telling the truth. If they star on a reality show about them sharing makeup, jeans and plastic surgeons, there will be a violent uprising.

If he makes her happy everything is fine, can't wait for her new stuff <3

Well, Pete will have Ashlee drunk and on drugs and knocked up in a couple of months. A couple of those pics with Ash and Pete already have Ashlee looking like she's stoned.

Hopefully she will have a good album though. The only thing I am nervous about is both Ashlee and Carrie Underwood have albums coming out in October. If Carrie releases her album before Ashlee then Ashlee can forget about having a number 1 album. Carrie's first album has been out for almost 2 years and it's still at the top of the charts. Carrie's album is still one of the top selling albums of 2007 selling over 1 million albums so far.

So once Carrie's second album is released no one will outsell her for a while. So hopefully Ashlee can get her album out before Carrie. I also hope I am wrong about Pete but some of those pictures make me shake my head. It's not like Ashlee hasn't already had trouble with alcohol long before she was with Pete.

I have also heard from other Ashlee fans that have seen Ashlee since she has been with Pete and she doesn't meet the fans or anything now because she always is with Pete. It's not like Ashlee exactly did much for the fans before she was with Pete but now it will be worse. It's pretty bad when there are a ton of artists who are a lot more popular than Ashlee who go out of their way to meet their fans.

I love Ashlee's music and I am very greatful I was able to get my pic with Ashlee (even though I had to pay $1400 to do it) but Ashlee is horrible when it comes to meeting fans and signing autographs. Oh, and if you meet Ashlee...you aren't allowed to get a picture with her. The only reason I got the picture is because I won the ebay charity auction thing. The regular meet and greet people had their cameras taken by her body guards before they went in to meet her.

In my opinion, whether Ashlee has success in the future or not depends on if she starts treating her fans better. By the end of her last tour a lot of fans were PISSED at Ashlee for not meeting them and for cancelling concerts while she was out at malls shopping. Granted, she supposedly had voice problems which means she was probably OK to go to malls and shop but you have to use your head. If you cancel a show because of "illness" and then are out living it up on the town then people are going to get pissed.

The only thing I give her credit for is at least she was supposedly signing autographs for fans that came up to her at the malls she was at.

Off topic for a second...Britney has no chance at a #1 album. Britney is nothing but a wreck.

Contrary to online reports, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are not engaged. Simpson's rep tells Usmagazine.com that the rumors of their impending nuptials are "absolutely not true."

Gossip website Popcrunch claims that Wentz, 28, proposed to Simpson, 22, on July 7 before Fall Out Boy's performance at Live Earth. Further, they speculate that the engagement stems from news that Simpson is pregnant.

The site's sources allege that the rumored engagement has been kept a secret because Simpson fears the overexposure that plagued Nick Lachey and older sister Jessica's marriage.

While we commend Simpson's alleged thinking should Wentz ever actually pop the question, the simple reason for this "engagement's" secrecy is its nonexistence.

Well about Pete is Ok, Ashlee is so sticky with him now and, when She will releasing her new album this will be over. About Ashlee's relation with her fans, I think all is about her mood, sometimes I think she doesn't want to be popular because she's not free, and she wants to have fun or something like that, about the tour situation, only was 1 date, and the fans had their money back. But Ashlee is not a woman like Kelly Clarkson that always have a smile and ignore her situation, she has a life and she live her life in her way, but this is not all Ashlee relation with her fans because, she every year go to the hospital to visit her non normal fans, and I saw a lot of pictures of her with her fans when she's in tour. I think We always put in the fan side and not in the artist side. And about her album, I think it will be out before than Carrie, or in November but before of Britney.

You might be right. But it seems by the end of her last tour her fans hated her. They had a whole thing on the radio where they burned her CDs. People were throwing things at her bus. At the shows I was at there was one show we were out hanging with her band members (who were amazingly nice) and there was only like 4 of us there. We kept asking if Ashlee would come out and say hi or something. They were like, "we don't know what she's doing." It was one little girls birthday and she wanted to meet Ashlee. So a couple people started banging on her bus window and her body guard came out. We asked for Ashlee to come out. He was like "Ashlee's not in her makeup anymore and her hair is messed up." We were all like we didn't care about that we would even agree not to take any pictures if she would just come out and sign autographs or even just say hi. But she wouldn't do it.

I still love Ash but she isn't really good to her fans. She used to be better though...On the tour she did back in October of '05 she came out from her bus and talked to the fans a little bit. But a year later at the same venue she didn't do anything but run from the fans.

Hmm I only heard this in one show or date but you didn't read the fans review of Puerto Rico and Guatemala when she go to perform there, They said that Ashlee was so nice with their and I saw pictures of They with Ashlee and she didn't have make up. And if you were checking her myspace you should read post of her fans about her shows, I read a lot of Detroit Fans that say that her show was amazing, and well in Fall Out Boy's Concerts I saw pictures of Ashlee with fans and she's not performing, I think she's more greatful with her fans than other artists.

Good. I'm thinking Pete deserves better

One thing I have heard is the only way to meet Ashlee is to see her at a FOB show. I can't remember where they burned her CDs I think it was in the midwest somewhere. I don't think she has done any permanent damage to her career yet. I mean she has survived a lot worse than what she is going through now. But I think this new album is make or break for her career. She'll either break through and become a huge star now or be stuck as a B-rate performer playing 1500 seat theaters the rest of her career.

Let's face it, someone who has 2 #1 albums that have both gone platinum should be playing 10,000+ seat arenas and places like the Tweeter Center and other amphitheaters. Granted I love the smaller venues because you can get a lot closer to Ashlee than at the arenas but if she can't break through to the major venues she won't last much longer.

As far as Ashlee goes, I don't care if I get a picture with her or meet her, I just buy the albums. i've loved her first two, so this third can't be terrible.

As for Carrie, just because her debut album is still selling and 5x platinum doesn't mean a damn thing. Remember, Kelly's "Breakaway" had the same run of staying in the top 50 forever and everytime a new single came sales roses, but MD only opened with 300K and I doubt with sales being so low she'll reach even 3x platinum, maybe even 2x platinum, especially with the controversy and how deep and depressing the album is criticized of being.

The Britney thing, um how did it even come up? Britney's album is out in December, and just like ppl forgot Mariah's situation before TEOM, Diddy's situtaionS, before PP, and other people who went through major **** before a new album, they come out on top. so for anyone to say Britney won't get a #1 album, they must be on crack, but we are talking about Aerometis though....

Well I heard this next album will be a great one because is produced for Ron Fair (Geffen's President) and He produced albums for Christina, and Pussycat, I think Ashlee is going to the Stripped Era because it will have some dance songs, love songs, rock songs, and hip hop flavors, and Stripped was a good album and it had all these options, If Ron Fair is the producer, and president of Ashlee's Label, don't you think that the promotion would be better?, I say Yes, and obviously Ashlee wants to promote her CD in a better way, I think Ashlee could reach her first Era and more.. And about the release week, I think it's better if she release the album a week before than Britney but all depends of the first single.
