This was a brilliant single by The Wanted (who happen to be my favourite boy band just now). The song had an incredibly catchy chorus.

This song completely took me by surprise! After my first listen to it I fell in love with it. I have a strong feeling this song will be big next year.

This flawless song took me a while to get into (and blocked the amazibg Euphoria from going number 1 ) but it's not hard to deny that this song is good. I felt it was a different dance track from the rest that have been released this year

This stunning song comes from ex- X Factor contestant, although it didn't do as well on the charts, it shows me that he is one of the best to have came from the X Factor. And this song shows it through his stunning vocals,production and song writing.

This is one of the highlights from Ke$ha's new album. I immediately fell in love with its catchy lyrics.
31. Teen Idle by Marina and the Diamonds
This is a gem of a song from Marina's second album. The song for me is instantly relatable and one of Marina's best.

This track took me by surprise, one of the best rap tracks to have came out this year,and shows that Azealia is going to pose as a threat to some female rappers.

Love it or hate it, Gangman Style took 2012 by storm. I personally loved it (even though I had no idea what he was singing) and if you ever see me in a club there's a good chance I'll be dancing to this

This Taylor song shocked me and made me fall in love with her. It was catchy and infectious with its lyrics and chorus

I'm not going to lie, I forgot all about Owl City but I'm glad he came back with this brilliant pop song with the help of the amazing Carly Rae Jepsen. This was the song of my summer.

Ke$ha's return to music comes with this catchy number by Dr Luke. Although the opening of the song sounds INCREDIBLY similar to Good Feeling by Flo Rida it doesn't stop it from being a good pop song

20. Swimming Pools (Drank) by Kendrick Lamar
I first listened to Kendrick with Lady Gaga announced, the now never to be seen/heard track Partynauseous, this song made me fall in love with him. Kendrick feels different to the other rappers in the game and this song shows it.
