Natural tanning (out in the sun, and not in a tanning bed) isn't harmful. It's natural. Putting chemicals onto your skin to change the color and laying out in the sun are two different things.
No. Tattoos, and even makeup, is a form of self expression. Unless you have a skin condition, you bleach your skin because you're ashamed of how you look.

?? You're making this into something it isn't. A dark person trying to make their skin lighter makes it seem they are trying to be "white" because they think "white" is better. That's racism against your own kind. Black can be pretty/beautiful as well, not just white skin.

What do you mean "all and out"? My stepfather is black (he also has vitiligo, but chooses not to bleach) and my little brother is biracial. Bleaching is self hatred, plain and simple.

Not to mention... People of color have historically been made to feel awful about not being white, so bleaching is seen as bad because it has its roots in racism and discrimination. While tanning is a modern, WHITE occupation.
