Those weren't separate albums, though. Almost everywhere in the world (excluding the US), they were primarily sold as the My Worlds package, which was one album, and even in the US they were primarily sold in a package that counted for My World 2.0.
But yes, Bieber has released two albums in a year before (last year).

It's good to see ATRL's prediction became reality. Sad for those three poor souls that were hoping for a different outcome and Bieber to stay on top but 1D owned 2012 and that's not shade, that's a fact.
