There isn't much to explain. Anyone's opinions shouldn't matter when dealing with the legality of another person's autonomy.
But I won't be debating in this thread because the majority of the people here are gay teenage boys who know next to nothing about female rights.
I agree with your firm view that an uncompromising attitude towards protecting female autonomy should be taken, but totally dismissing others' opinions probably is not helpful. I would suggest that it is helpful to include people in the discourse to show them the importance of autonomy and change attitudes.
Whether a woman (or man, it takes two to tango remember) used birth control or not is not even important. What a random woman does with her life and how she ended up pregnant isn't anybody's business but her own. She does NOT have to come up with a reason to justify her actions to a bunch of strangers who do not approve. When you try to make abortion illegal, you are forcing your personal beliefs on other people. Since when it is okay to force your beliefs on everybody else? When abortion is legal, you have a choice to have one or not. Nobody is being forced to do anything and you can choose to live however you want to. When you make abortion illegal, there is no choice. What kind of world is one where we are forced to live according to one groups way of thinking?
It's nobody's business and the government won't stop you from having sex but once you get pregnant, the government has a responsibility to protect you and the fetus you're carrying inside your body. You can't just flush it out of your womb just as you wish so. The law also protects the life of the helpless unborn child. The fetus also has its rights just like any human being. Even animals have their rights too.

Except that the foetus is not by definition a person because it relies upon the mother for its survival. It does not survive independently of the mother.
