3M in 15 weeks = 200K/week avg.
Seems very solid to me. Especially since songs that sell better usually have more radio support which gives them longevity.

The fact that it's sold this much is nothing short of a miracle considering what USA Radio did to that song

Because all those views come from US?
US =/= The World. Something a certain sta....... (nvm don't need a wp)
The song is in Korean and it was ignored by radio for most part (around 50m AI peak for a couple of days and then vanished)
It's doing amazing.
It already crossed 3m btw and still Top 5 with Xmas sales inc. It will sell well over 5m at the end of its run.

I know right. Can you imagine how much it would have sold if radio had supported the song

Tik Tok sold 6M so I don't think that's the reason.

Gangnam Style = Friday
People are watching his video to make fun of him, not because they like the song, thus its underwhelming sales.

The language is a legitimate excuse if it stops radio from playing it, and it has

No one buys it because the song isn't why it's viral, if it didn't have the iconic video it wouldn't be remotely popular, at all.

Wish You Were Here has 127 million views and has sold less than 200K.
YouTube Views =/ Digital sales

Ummmm. I'm fairly certain that Psy never anticipated the song being this big. It has already exceeded expectations many times over.
I doubt he nor anyone in his label is upset about the song's sales.
