I really feel you on this tbh.
Though it can be said that he's exploring sexuality in a fluid way, uninhibited by masculine ideals in which straight men would avoid this level of interaction with queer culture without being considered gay himself (whereas famous straight women take from it as they please to bolster their fan bases). He appears thoughtful and sincere in his works, so I'm a bit torn.
