Scott Walker says arming school officials should be "part of the discussion"

He obviously hasn't had an evil teacher who hates him. I'm completely against this. Some of the teachers I've had are extremely angered individuals. They don't need guns.

Rick Perry recently suggested something similar. This is not the solution to the problem.

No, they should have Taser guns.

I wish i could understand the idea that if everyone has guns we'll be safer.

Why not just hire security guards?

No. Then some crazy teacher will shoot up their classroom, and claim self defense.

So first conservatives think school teachers suck, but now they should also be armed?

This is beyond an idiotic idea. Don't people remember that Columbine High School had armed security guards?

I had a teacher who used to tell over the most basic **** and threaten us.

Not an awful idea. But the gun would have to be on lock down. Teachers shouldn't have easy access to it. Only in emergencies.

Don't piss off your teacher then. And I highly doubt a teacher would use the gun on a student unless they're sick in the head.

Yes, cause what we need during an emergency is a teacher leaving their classroom empty and without supervision so they can try to make it to the guns location, oh, and then figure out what the hell is happening, where the shooter is, and how to take them down.....

It's my last year in High school, so no. And not every school is the same.

How about we take guns away instead of giving people more...
