she could release in May if she wanted to, she started RR in September/October last year and released in April. but we knew almost frequently when she was in the studio.. and we know shes not in the studio lately.

but she better NOT release till Nov next year.

May is too soon for TPP. She said in a interview that RR was rushed and look at what the results were.

If she wants to create a great hip hop album, if she wants Grammy awards, and if she wants critical acclaim, she needs to take her time. I don't care if she starts working on the album now, actually I'd like her too. That way she'll have almost a year to work on it and tweak it and make it perfect. But to only have 5 months to work on it and then release it in May? No.

I want no music from Nicki until next August/September. I really hope this release date gets pushed back.

I hate the notion that longer recording period = better music.

PF was written and recorded in less time than PFRR. TRU was only recorded in four weeks.

The only reason she said it was rushed was because she had so much other projects going ON at the time that she couldn't really re-write her verses.

Her working on an album for a year won't make that album better or worst than her working on an album for five or six months.

But pre PF her life was moving at slower pace plus she was hungry and had **** to say. It was an album that had been in the works (inside of her mind) for as long as she wanted to be an artist.

It's not that she needs a year to record but she does need to time live, relax, and smell the roses before starting the process of another album. That's the only way we're going to get quality innovative out of the box music, imo.

Most of PF was actually re-recorded after Massive Attack. The original album with Married in the Club and all of that was scrapped to begin with.

Ya'll let her take a break and smell the roses, but then don't expect an album until Q4 2014, kidding ofc.

She clearly knows what she wants to do with this album. She never mentioned what she actually wanted to do with PF or PFRR.

She was able to draw from the initial plan and scrap some of the material and STILL make a great album in time because she had years of experiences, inspirations, and hunger built up inside of her.

Not so much now. All she has now is idol, best friends with range rovers, and the corporate world pulling her in each and every other direction but being an artist. Which is why you'll be getting another rehashed album with another rehashed era.

I'll rather her next album be acclaimed like TRU anyway. You don't know what she has for her album, so there's no reason to sound all types of ignorant.

She always raps about her life, so she needs to take a break so we can hear more diverse lyrics from her tbh.
