Well, the first half of 2007 has already come to an end. It's time to make a quick overview about the best selling albums of 2007 and the biggest charts so far...
Well... Nelly Furtado's "Loose" has been having an AMAZING run!!
It was the 13th best selling album of 2006... and it's the best selling album of 2007 so far!! And like that is not enough, her single "Say it right" is leading the top singles of 2007!!
It was nº1 in the U.S.A and many countries in Europe. Actually, Nelly Furtado is selling like crazy all over Europe...specially because of her "double hit single parade"... I mean, she released "All good things come to an end", a totally inexpected HUGGGGEEE HIT in Europe that was nº1 in almost every single european country... and it was replaced in the top spot by "Say it right" in many of these countries. "Loose" sales just went over the roof!!!
However, I think the second half of 2007 will bring Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight" to the number 1 spot. "Loose" has already sold around 6,5 million copies worldwide...maybe it will make it to 7 million copies.... but it is already in its descending curve, while "Minutes to Midnight" is still there to sell some more 1 or 2 millions... ... but I don't believe Linkin Park will sell over 6 miilion copies overall with "Minutes to midnight"!
