Good Morning

So when I got up at 7:00 I was told buses were cancelled.
Then my step-dad screamed at me for "trying to skip class" and completely freaked **** because apparently they weren't, but the board screwed up so turns out school wasn't cancelled.


I'm not in the back of my Economics class, and only six kids turned up and I'm still pissed my step-dad freaked out on me, he pulled all this "your attendance won't get you accepted in University, your too much of a slacker, blah blah, blah."

Worst thing is he went to the site and saw how I could of screwed up, and he didn't even apologize.

Turns out I forgot my textbooks to so I'm screwed all day, and I got my culminating task for Economics..

Time to go in a dark corner and listen to Carrie until I finish these culminatings.

Also I like the comparison of Carrie & Faith to Shania & Taylor.

But I still consider Carrie to have more similarities in her career compared to Shania, both have been underappreciated, under recognized, when both had huge careers. I mean - Come On Over didn't even win its Best Country Album nomination.

That's because a majority of Come On Over's success came from its crossover singles (wait, just kidding, it still had three #1s on the country charts ). The Woman In Me won Best Country Album though.

I'd actually love to see a Carrie and Faith duet, two of the biggest voices of the genre. Might as well throw Martina in there too. It would be the Lady Marmalade of country music.
