In the new issue of Blender, Kelly Clarkson says that Clive Davis offered her "Black Hole"! Here's an except from the article:
Earlier this year Clive Davis sent Kelly Clarkson three compositions he wanted her to consider recording. One of those songs, "Black Hole", was written by Kara DioGuardi, who contributed to "Breakaway". Clarkson says no one at the label told her that the song had already been released, in 2005, by actress Lindsay Lohan. "I'm young, I'm a rookie - I get that. But when you're sending me Lindsay Lohan covers to sing, why would you think I'd want your opinion?" says Kelly.
Wow, I think I got what she means. I mean, Kelly's a big artist, but she was asked to do a cover of Lindsay's song, that'd be just NO.
But I actually love Black Hole, Lindsay's 2nd album is just amazing, like her 1st.
And I think kelly wouldve done better at singing Black Hole than Lindsay. trust me.
