On July 7th, Jennifer Lopez will perform at the announcement ceremony of the New 7 Wonders of the world in Lisbon, Portugal. The ceremony will also feature performances by Chaka Khan, Jose Carreras, Alessandro Safina, Joaquín Cortés, and Dulce Pontes, among others.

Jennifer is "fighting" with Penelope Cruz and Eva Mendes for the lead role of the movie "Queen of the South". This will be an adaption of Arturo Pérez Reverte's book that will be directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz. The story is about a woman that leaves Mexico after her drug mule boyfriend is killed. She then goes to Spain and there she becomes a drug kingpin and will seek revenge for her boyfriend's murder
