Really depends. If you are pretty masculine, you can hide your sexuality and keep it "down low" in a homophobic society. But if you are black, you can't really do anything about it in a racist society.

But on the other hand, race is universally protected in developed societies, where as homosexuality still gets discriminated against even in developed countries like USA

Obviously black people don't think it's a bad thing to be black (save the self hating ones). We're talking about in society. Like about people on the outside's treatment towards someone.

I'd say both groups deal with an equal amount of cons, those cons just happen to be doubled when you're a member of both groups.
