There needs to be a show like X-factor but without the emphasis on voices. Because the people with strong vocals tend to lack the X-Factor and the ones with less vocal strength tend to be the ones with the X-Factor

THE ARTIST
New TV show to find the best talent in Britain, with a panel of experienced, talented and stunning judges.
JUDGES:
- Ed Sheeran
- Cheryl Cole
- Rihanna
- Example
FORMAT:
ROUND 1
(Similar to X Factor)
Auditions would be held in various cities across the UK, however instead of being held in Arena's they would be held outdoors in front of crowds; where each Artist will step up to perform, and they would perform a cover or original song (and be backed by some sort of instrument, either by themselves or by an in house band).
To get through to the next round they need at least 3 yeses.
ROUND 2
After getting through all contestants are sent to a Bootcamp in America - where they will be trained by some of the industries finest singers, songwriters, and producers.
They will spend 1 weeks at the camp, and have a grueling schedule. At the end of the week, they will produce an original song which they will perform in front of the judges to get through to the next round.
ROUND 3
Rather than Judges Houses, the Artists are sent to do concerts across the country to prove themselves as an artist. The Judges will monitor their progress, and then decide which Artists have captured the nations hearts the most to get through to Live Shows.
ROUND 4
Live Shows each week - only 10 artists make the cut.
The artists must produce a new track with the help of the worlds finest producers to perform, they are also coached on singing, stage presence (some of them dancing if required)
Each week they will have a Celebrity Mentor come and help too.
ROUND 5
In the finale just 2 artists are left standing to fight for a Record Contract, and a chance to launch a career in the states.
The finale is held at the London 02 Arena, where the 2 artists will both perform a set of songs to win the public's votes.
Aswell as dueting with a celebrity guest.

The judges aren't diverse - they're all white country/pop artists that wouldn't appeal to others, such as R&B/Rock/Rap/Latin/etc.
Sounds too related to X-Factor, and the dancing/etc on top of singing would sound too hard to learn for some.

4 Alist judges.
1million dollar budget for each contestant.
Have them make videos, perform, etc. Then the end release the winner album.

The perfect TV Judges that would probably bring in ratings, and be good for a show if I did one:
Justin Bieber - Pop Artist, Teen Ratings, and Interesting to see as a Judge.
Taylor Swift - Sweetheart, Country/Pop Artist, Teen Ratings, and Interesting to see as a Judge
Beyonce or Jay-Z - R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop Appeal, Ratings from Urban Demographic, and since we don't see much of her/him it'd be interesting.
Jennifer Lopez - Latin/Pop Appeal, Ratings from Latino Demographic, and never saw her on AI so I wanna see her here.
Mariah Carey - Legend, Appeal from Everyone, Great Ratings, and the Mean Judge.
That would attract everyone tho

The budget thing sounds cute but it might end up corny.

The Sound
A music composition show. It's based off of the show, Platinum Hit. The basis is the same, except it focuses more on the production/composition of music. It's a way to find the next big producer. The judges: Dr. Dre, J.R. Rotem & maybe Dr. Luke.
