This and homoflexible. Like they exist, but is the label necessary? Because that's bisexual...

1. Asexuality means you are not attracted to either sex and usually lack of interest in sex.
2. You call yourself a gay person (attracted to the male side) and an asexual (not attracted to either sex).
3. If you are not attracted to either sex, then why have you decided to be gay? Knowing you will never be attracted to males, or interact in sex with them, why have you chosen that path?
There are many people in the world who are attracted to one sex or both, and don't want to have sex for their own reasons. But, never - have I heard them call themselves an asexual because of that.

Really, please read this actually rather informative article. It can clear up a lot of confusion with asexual terminology and help with understanding of asexuality as a whole.

Simply being not attracted to someone sexually does not eliminate all attraction to them whatsoever, and in fact a large number of asexual people hold stable and healthy romantic relationships.

Except asexuality is such a broad sexuality, and there are literally thousands of sub-sexualities involved, so.
I've had sex before, with men. I've had relationships before, with men. I have always liked men. Therefore, I'm gay.
An asexual person can be attracted to someone and not want to have sex with them. The whole point of asexuality is being attracted to someone based on everything BUT sex. (not the whole point, but if you look at that article that Retro Dance Freak posted, you'll get it.) So are asexual people not supposed to date, or get married, etc? You obviously haven't put enough research into this because you sound like an idiot.
So many damn misconceptions about asexuality.

He's right. There are a ton of people who are gay, but also asexual. Asexual simply means you lack sexual attraction. But an asexual can be romantic or aromatic. So therefore, if they're the romantic orientation, they'll want to engage in relationships and have a preference.
AndresVanDeKamp is homoromantic asexual.

And as far as Bisexuality, I know people who are Bi and they definitely are ..lol

Well, asexuality is either the lack of attraction to others or the lack of interest in sex, so it depends on which asexual you are talking to. I'm repulsed by sex, personally.

Indeed. Maybe I just haven't developed a sex drive, but I mean, I'm an almost 18 year old male who can grow facial hair and has body hair.
I just don't have any interest in sex. I've found women attractive, had girlfriends, but never wanted to do anything futhur. And before y'all say "gay!", I'm not attratched to men.

I do believe in bisexuality. But most of the time, a person usually picks a side. So it's not really that much of a long term thing. If you get what I mean.

Bisexual, asexual, hyposexual heterosexual, hyposexual homosexual, hypersexual heterosexual, whatever the hell your sexuality is, it exists to you and if others can't accept that then they need help. Why can't people be accepting
And I'm a Republican saying this, jsyk.

Sounds like you could also be hyposexual, which is what I identify as. Its lack of sexual attraction, but not totally asexual.

Possibly. All I know is that I am attrached to women romantically (I guess that's the word to use) but not sexually at all.
It's very confusing. :/

Some of the replies in here... ....don't bitch and complain about how you want acceptence in life, when you can't even accept others. They all exist; everyone is different, and you all will deal.

I don't want to have sex. I'd rather kiss and cuddle than have sex. Just the way it is gorls!

I think you're too fast to jump to conclusion that it's asexuality.
I was in that phase, too, when sex felt repulsive to me
