Despite being shadowed by Miley Cyrus in America, Kelly Clarkson's My December topped the chart with a modest 390K in its first week which was on par with Loose which sold 333K in its first week of major release (Figure does not include 99K gained from pre-Worldwide release). Nevertheless, My December can expect to pick up over the Summer with no major competition in the coming weeks.

lolz really uhm Never Again was a weak single... but as soon as she releases a GREAT one the album will start selling... but hey it might pulll a Breakaway and sell great throughout
I'm impressed by the weak performance of this album. Maybe my expectations were too high, I don't know, but I really thought it would sell at least 500k worldwide in its first week.
