I think the top artist of 2013 will be Taylor Swift since most of the sales of RED will count for the year end chart of 2013. Also it seems like I Knew You Were Trouble. will be a big pop hit. Rihanna will be probably #2 again.
I'm thinking Adele won't release her new album before December, so the single would probably come late October... Yeah, yeah, she could still OWN everyone with 3 weeks of sales.

No, I'm not a hater but people like Gaga, Perry and Beyonce are releasing new albums, these artists are kinda missed these days, they will peak and of course Taylor Swift, Rihanna will peak only until the other girls release something new, as for Adele, I don't know if people will buy her 'happy' records. She has peaked in so many ways already.

No, Gaga and Beyonce will. Both women are massive hype machines and Rihanna will be left in the dust (IDT Adele is releasing anything). In 2009, Gaga had one of the top two highest-selling albums, in 2010, Gaga had the highest-selling album, and in 2011, Gaga had one of the top two highest-selling albums. 2013 will be a rihpeat.
Unapologetic will struggle to cross the 1,000,000 mark in the US just like Talk That Talk.
