Apple's quarters don't align with ComTrack's quarters, which don't align with what we would typically call quarters. Either way, you're basically inadvertantly admitting the iPhone 5 had been outsold by the Galaxy S3 and the iPhone Family (3GS, 4, 4S, 5) have been outsold by the Galaxy Family for the last quarter.
What we'll likely see is the continued improvements of competitors against the iPhone line, but the iPhone brand continuing to do Really, Really well. It's far from Blackberry.
And of course noone can take away Apples past historic milestones in advancement of smartphones. I'm just saying that their period as the dominant #1 is coming to a close, just like HTC's did a few years back, and Motorola/RIM/Nokia's before HTC
