It has been confirmed that 'That's What U R' will serve as the first official US single from Amerie's new album 'Because I Love It'. Current single 'Gotta Work' will be for the European market only. 'Because I Love It' - the singer's third album - will see its US release this summer; the CD is out now in Europe and other territories.
I hope she does PR for this and gets the success she deserves. I mean really, she is MUCH better than someone like say RIHANNA. haha, "Take Control" and "Gotta Work" have already been released elsewhere, so it's about time. ;p

This is great news, because "Gotta Work" (Which ain't **** but "One Thing"'s ugly step sister; production wise) isn't the single for the U.S.
But yeah,as much as I like "That's What U R", I completely expect this single to flop even though the song is good for wehat is is; a midtempo that any other artist would just leave on their album's tracklisting and not make it a single.
