Oh god. I love the L4D series!
The first one still had more longevity, though, I remember I never even got bored of the game till around the sequel arrived but the 2nd one only lasted me a few months at most. It's a shame because the 2nd had much better gameplay and improvements overall, it just kinda felt like the same game with improvements, that's why it got old faster. I think Valve should've released it as an expansion rather than a full fledged sequel.
I haven't played any of them since March this year, I used to play it with my friends on Steam all the time. I need to get back into it again.
