Not really. I don't recall Beyoncé telling people to never, ever indulge themselves in a not-so-healthy treat once in a while. Hell, she's never been shy about her love for Popeye's fried chicken and biscuits, does that invalidate her contribution to Michelle Obama's health campaign? Few people who live healthily don't deny themselves a bit of junk food every now and then. It's all about balance. It shouldn't be an all-or-nothing deal.
The author is reaching for the sky with this pointless article. Bottom line, if you're weak-minded enough to let a celebrity influence your lifestyle choices or your children's for that matter, you're an idiot, plain and simple. Beyoncé isn't responsible for that.
Furthermore, celebrities have been endorsing unhealthy stuff for years, Bey is far from being the first to do it. Why get all outraged only now? Sorry to sound like a stan, but the author is the definition of PRESSED.
