Earpods sound horrible. You need new headphones I thought they would sound decent but they are not even close.

so are Skull Candys considered low quality headphones? Those are the ones I have.

Maybe yours were faulty of something. They're 100x better than the major brands like Beats and a fraction of the price. They don't sound as good with any device that isn't an apple product though. Maybe that's why

I honestly hear no difference between lossless and 320 MP3 (except for electronic music which really does require lossless) so I'm not too picky. However I don't trust people with how they rip CDs so sometimes I just look for FLACs or ALACs and convert them myself

I have an iPhone and they still suck. And I'm not the only person who says this. Look online for reviewers and they all say the same thing. There's a reason why they're free. And Beats aren't that great either its not hard to top beats. And a headphone should work with any product regardless. So even if they only work with Apple products than that is an issue.

This. Earpods are the pits. It's a step up to the other earbuds the iPods had before but it's still in such bad quality

Personally, I do hear the slight difference with lossless, and I wish I could have it for all of my music. However, I can't use it with my iPhone because I have too much music and not enough space, even with 32GB, and I'm not gonna have two versions of every song on my computer, so I stick to iTunes quality, especially since I buy more on iTunes than I do CDs. It does piss me off however, that most iTS music is only 256kbps instead of 320kbps.
