is it only with SOME gay guys that you have to be careful of what you say? seriously, some people i used to know were like pain in the neck, especially men after 30. i asked him how it is to be in his thirties and then he started acting like a diva. is age really a problem for gay guys? or maybe for all guys?
age is an issue in general.
women (especially in the entertainment biz) lie about it, some men do too
it's our culture that glorifies the young-in's and ostracizes the old and wrinkly
I did chuckle a bit when I read a Grindr "About Me" from a 36 year old guy who said he was specifically into "18 - 35 year olds". So he has no problem hooking up with a teen, but doesn't want to date someone his own age or older.
I guess some gay men - much like some women - feel like they lose value as they get older because they seek validation from being attractive/desirable to others, and that decreases with age?
There's also how youth-centric and shallow the gay scene is.

I just think it's a problem for the 40-50 year old men who have "abs" and rock their mall get ups(Aeropostale/American Eagle/Abercrombie & Fitch) to the club. They are SERIOUSLY trying to hold onto the last strands of youth they have...even if it is only the shirt on their back.
Last week with my friends. We met a group of guys who were in their thirties.
And all of them said to us they had 23 or 22.
We met them in a dark house. Then we went to a club with them. And when we went out of the club in the morning.
I notice one of them even had white hairs and wrinkles.
I mean. I don't know. Some gays tend to lie about their age.
