Definite special mention should be given to Miley and Glambert who were SO narrowly beaten out for the titles (check those poll numbers, eep!), but we're going to take this time to go deep into the crisp styles of your winners. In retrospect, if you're going to crown a stylish LADY of 2012, it only makes sense that the title goes to Lady Gaga. Not just because it's a (marginally) funny play on her name but because the woman is always ON. Whether she's wearing Vivienne Westwood straight off the runway, bestowed vintage Versace gems from the archive and borrowed from Donatella herself, OR, you know, wearing a dress made entirely of hair, Lady Gaga is forever killing the style game from high fashion to avant garde. And on TOP of that, she doesn't skimp on the beauty regime. Nails done, hair done, EVERYTHING did. *bows in exhaltation*

Putting 1D in this clash of the fashion titans was a huge wild card for us. Not because we doubted their sartorial prowess (on the COMPLETE contrary, I mean, look at these outfits all stacked up), but because we were filling the spot of one dude with five. But we only had spots for ten nominees, and how could we choose between perfectly coiffed Harry, suspendered Louis, bedroomy eyed Liam, polo sporting Niall, and our all-around spirit animal Zayn? The answer is: we couldn't, so we just nominated the entire group. Their ability to exactly color-coordinate with Pantone precision is supremely bananas, AND they spread out the shades and prints into the perfect negative-positive space balance, rendering each group photo kiiiiiind of a masterpiece. Congratulations to One Direction, Lady Gaga, and all their fashion fans — you all won big today!
