Google just released their annual MOST Searched list. Surprisingly (or not if you've been keeping up) Selena landed at no. 3 of most searched celebrity and no. 2 on the most googled images in the world. 2012 ended up being a BIG year for Selena. Her hit song LOVE YOU LIKE A LOVE SONG (loved by Lady Gaga ) ended up selling more than 2.300.000 copies while its video was viewed almost 160,000,000 times.
Allthough it didn't peak high, it remains the biggest song (in terms of sales) released from her label Hollywood records in 2011-2012. While the follow up HIT THE LIGHTS failed to make a splash, Selena's album WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN ended up selling over 640,000 with over 4.5 million singles sold in the USA and over 1.3 million worldwide! LYLALS was an international hit; charting in Norway, Belgium, Russia (number 1), France, going top 10 in Canada and many more.
LYLALS remained on the US Hot 100 for 38 weeks and the CANADIAN top 100 for 42 weeks! It holds the record for the longest charting single to come from Hollywood records for both countries!

ONE of the Biggest thing that happened this year was the showing of "Spring Breaker" at TIFF and Venice Film Festival.
“Tonight was one of the most amazing nights I've ever had. Our film got a standing ovation at the Venice film festival! I couldn't stop crying,” wrote Selena Gomez on her Facebook page. “Being part of such an amazing project was such a blessing.”
The film has received nothing BUT great reviews from journalist to fellow actors like Robert Pattinson. In a new interview with Premiere, Rob, 26, raved about the film! “I think of people like Harmony Korine that I think are incredible. He showed me his new film Spring Breakers this summer and I loved it.”
Harmony himself had this to say: "Immediately, instinctively, I said it would be great if Selena Gomez would do this. It's pretty crazy that they were all pretty receptive to it.
A lot of them knew my films, which always surprises me. I got an email that Selena was going to hop on a plane and come to my living room in Nashville to audition, and that her mom was coming with her, and that she would be there the next morning."

In November, Selena became one of the newest representative for the Adidas NEO Label, one of the company's most fashionable and fun brands in 2012. Gomez's partnership with Adidas, as the new global style icon and guest designer, lasts for three years, until the end of 2015.
Selena will work with NEO to design and develop ranges for each season, beginning with fall/winter 2013. She will also appear in print, digital, retail and outdoor campaigns, the first of which will launch in February 2013.

SELENA GOMEZ CHARITY WORK!
Selena Gomez continued working with UNICEF this year. Selena Gomez with special guest star "Big Time Rush" held their second-annual charity concert event this year. The concert raised over $200,000 for the United Nations Children’s Fund.
Selena's work is not limited to only UNICEF. The Ryan Seacrest Foundation announced April that Selena Gomez is the organization's first charity ambassador. Seacrest, whose foundation builds hospital "media centers" -- TV, radio and new media stations that help lift kids' spirits and offers creative outlets -- made the announcement on his radio show. While working with The Ryan Seacrest Foundation Selena met Hara Hwang, who ended up making a special bracelet for the star. A bracelet she wore while touring Latin America earlier this year.
In November of this year Selena joined pal Ryan Seacrest for the opening of Seacrest Studios at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas!
