No. ke$ha is a pop artist. I understand that people mainly want to discredit Nicki as a rapper WHEN she is achieving records and maintain relevance but you guys opinions are not going to classify Nicki outside of the rapper title. If people want to reach and call talk singing and rapping the same thing, then I would like to see those same people draw that argument in an urban forum. I will be perched with popcorn in tow.
At the end of the day, people won't change this feat. If people dedicated as much time to their faves then maybe just maybe...

Is Ke$ha going to break rap records now? How would it be fair to compare her chart stats with Die Young, Tik Tok etc to those of Lil' Kim, Foxy Brown, etc. who made Urban music and clearly had less of an advantage on charts I'm sorry but any "rap" record that includes stuff like Turn Me On and Starships isn't remotely comparable.

I guess everyone's opinion can be respected; however, did we get confirmation that Kesha is now going as a rapper? Until then, if people want to reach for the stars to discredit others then it is less of a reflection of the subject matter at hand. People are never going to be tired of making excuses as to the coulda, woulda, shoulda but isn't.
If you did your homework, you would know that the 90s generation was one of the most successful revenue generating decades in music. In comparison to the 80s, 10s the 90s was a very successful time for rap. Rap artist were crossing over, getting platinum singles and sales and with the chart formula with half sales/half airplay it really was as even with the way things were before steaming impacted the charts. If we were talking about Queen latifah, monie love etc. they were struggling in the 80s. The 90s multiplatinum albums and singles for rappers were common. Your statement suggesting otherwise: the struggle is real. Nicki's success keeps people intrigued. The impact.
