Yes, that's true, but I think she has gotten a lot of confidence and freedom back to be able to do what she wants to a certain extent with the next album. She did new, experimental music with Femme Fatale, until Jive Records went broke and needed pop/radio candy to sell well. But look at recent candids, interviews, etc.
She has gained a great amount of confidence back. Her interviews aren't scripted. She was seen driving her car by herself, something we haven't seen in forever. She has also been going off to multiple places with only her children and body guard. No managers, Jason, conservators, handlers, etc. She is getting back to the original, free, fun, sweet, innocent Britney we all know and love.
