Brilliant. Knew Scotland would take the lead here for the UK, like always.

This one? Scotland's bill will come into effect before any that England and Wales have on the plate since they always take a couple of years to go through parliament and be signed into law, so Gay Marriages will occur in Scotland before they do in England & Wales? Unless you're talking about the independence stuff, then even if the impossible happens and we gain independence we'll still be part of the UK until long into 2015 - plenty of time for Gay marriages to occur in the UK in 2014 and most of 2015.
Scotland has always had different marriage laws to the rest of the UK, 16 year olds can get married here - that's why English 16 and 17 year olds run to Gretna Green to get married. Seems gays will be joining them in their runaway marriages soon enough.
