I'm probably looking too much into this, but does anyone believe Interscope is slightly trying to hinder Scream & Shout's true success?

We've seen how they ****ed up the US iTunes release, gave the song no banner, no radio deal, etc... We've seen how they pushed up the songs release in the UK to battle against the UK XF winner hindering the song from debuting #1 there, the song is top 3 on iTunes Germany right now but Interscope haven't released the song on Amazon there which doesn't allow the song to chart on the official chart ... I mean, Interscope didn't even fund the music video for will.i.am, he had to pay it with his own money!

I don't know, they just seem completely against the song yet it's achieving success on it's own accord (with help from S&S music video debuting on XF which is the only thing they've done right)! Oh well ...

Why would Interscope hinder S&S from succeeding? Will paying for the video was a little bit strange though and I was wondering what was the backstory on that?!

We've seen the struggle will.i.am is having to release his second solo album after his first tanked with all these "delays", he has expressed Interscope's concern over the singles flopping in the US (well, mostly everywhere that isn't the UK) ... I don't know, Interscope just seem really reluctant to attempt to make him a solo success after his previous solo efforts failing them.

It's a typo, "3" was listed at 2,225,000 on (06/05/12). No way it sold an extra 800k in 6 months. They probably meant Circus.

The reach shock is HIAM. We're almost to 2x platinum.
