Yes, I hate it

It happens to me all the time.

But on topic, yeah I hate it, too. It just happened to me (left headphone shorted out) but I had bought that replacement plan at FYE with my earphones and they told me I had to file a claim online but there wasn't anywhere for me to do that I could find on their site or anywhere online. So I went back to the store to complain and the manager ended up giving me a new pair.

Bitch I broke another god damn pair again!

You guys either need to clean your ears so the headphones don't get full of ear wax

or you guys need to S T O P wrapping the cords around your device.

N E V E R E V E R wrap the cords around the device, it ****s up the connection in the 3.5mm plug and that's why one ear stops working (usually the right)

Ever since I learned that after going through headphones like once a month, I'm on my Klipsch Image S4's for 1 1/2 years and they still work like brand new.

I absolutely hate it when this happens. Fortunately for me, I always buy my headphones at Target, so every time this happens, which if I recall correctly, is 8 times within the past 8 months, I use the return slip on my receipt in order of getting get new ones for free, every. single. time.

Those damn skull candys man. Make sure if you buy headphones, buy them at Target and KEEP the receipt, so if, and when, they do break, just use the return slip to get new ones.

Also dont put the headphones in your pocket with any sharp objects like keys, and dont wrap them like previously stated.

LMAO anybody else who eat earphones for breakfast? I swear i must have broken like 100+ earphones already in my lifetime
