Not necessarily. TEOG was released roughly a month after Judas, and that was only a promo single. The album needs to drop March.
Yeah promo singles are only meant for sales though. They aren't meant for airplay and video releases. Releasing an official 2nd single not even a month after the lead single will kill one or both singles.

I fear what will happen to you guys when gaga actually flops/ has a downward spiral like Britney, Xtina, Mariah, 4,*insert a couple flop Madonna eras*, etc.
BTW ended up selling 7 million copies and is still selling on top of spawning 3-4 successful singles and a sold out world tour that will be one of the moat successful tours of all time. She gained a little weight and lost it again but at worst she looked chubby not an Xtina or kirstie alley sized weight gain. If I listened to those on atrl I'd think she hit rock bottom or something.
Seeing a few posts for a while that old gaga is back or something to that extent in other threads. Reminds me of media attacks on gaga and fan meltdowns during the end of the BTW era. While it was a small bump and decline the media, haters and stans would lead me to think she was having an Xtina downward spiral or something. When if you think about a flop single or a little weight gain which she bounces back from happened all the time with the other pop girls but when it happened to gaga people thought her career was over. I guess it just goes to show how much impact she's made. Lets be glad we're not struggling to get #1 singles, #1 albums, grammys or trying to sing her own song like some of the other girls.

I personally think she lost a lot of the "fierceness" during the BTW era, that she seems to be regaining.
With the album still not 90% complete and touring going on, i don't think first single is coming that fast, but please GAGA don't let us wait too looooong

In all honesty I think they're pretty finished content wise, they're just working on the album sonically. She's probably still writing last minute songs too, but I think they're quite done. If a March/April release is true than we will have a lead single by February the latest.
