thank you! it definitely is! I mean with PTV, I get emotional over everything, but at their concerts it's always special, seeing them stand in front of me and play those songs that mean so much to me, I can't put it into words.

I think it's great to be like that with a band though. Bands always seem to have a special bond with their fans that can't be explained, I've been like that once or twice.
I would be surprised if they weren't #1.

don't worry about it, they have no exposure to mainstream so unless you are into their kind of music, it is normal that you haven't heard of them
and thank you, Adrian that would be a great present btw

when they toured Germany last year, I was disappointed that I couldn't go because the closest date was still too far away. this year, they played 'only' two hours away so I finally had the chance to see them.
it was a weird concert in a way, since there were only about 50 kids there to see them and the venue was more than half empty. I wasn't sure how the band would react to that, but luckily they didn't seem to mind at all. they acknowledge the fact that it was one of the smallest crowds they ever played and I think they also had no idea where they were, but you could tell they were genuinely happy to be there for the first time and play for the people who had showed up.
I had been wondering beforehand how their sound would translate live, and I was actually pleasantly surprised. they had a DJ, drummer and a guy who played guitar/bass/keyboard, so both the electronic and rock elements of their music came across well. the vocals were good, too, especially Kyle's screams were great considering he was jumping and running around the stage the whole time.
he was also the one actively seeking contact with the audience during the concert, always smiling and waving at people as well as coming down from the stage into the pit a few times to sing with/to people at the barrier. David seemed pretty shy to me, he didn't talk much in between songs and rather focused on his performance, but at least came to shake a few hands in the front before he left the stage.
I was set on meeting them afterwards, so I hung around the venue for about 45 minutes. then suddenly, some staff came and told us they were gonna close the building down and we had to wait outside. my parents, who were there to pick me up, urged me to leave but I didn't want to go yet. we stood outside and then suddenly a girl came to tell us that David was actually inside the venue meeting fans right now.
everyone ran back inside and once again the people from the venue came to threw us out. we were all so disappointed, but then David suggested that he would come outside with us, and we were all like YESSS! so in the end, I got to talk to him for a couple of minutes, we took a picture, and he signed my ticket.
I can honestly say he's one of the nicest people I've ever met. just so kind and patient, he took time to talk and listen to everyone who was waiting and when I left, he even shook my mom's hand and thanked her, it was the best thing ever.
I'm not a huge Breathe Carolina fan so I didn't have a lot of expectations for this concert, but I had a super fun time with them and they were definitely better live than I would have thought. I mean, they even managed to get some of the parents in the crowd to dance and sing along!
best moment: Kyle coming down from the stage and singing to me, twice
