But Beyoncé is not getting $50 million. The article says the entire campaign will cost that much, and Beyoncé's fee (unspecified) is included in the sum. It's not that big of a deal for a huge company like Pepsi to spend $50m on marketing.

The can isn't even the biggest thing about this 50 million dollar campaign, it's that they're sponsoring her world tour and giving her a CREATIVE budget to do with what she wishes for promotion.
