most definitely a trend. It doesn't really matter if those songs were successes or not or that you personally believe there are too few examples. That's like saying Britney didn't start the solo female teen popstar trend in the late 90's because there was only Christina, Jessica and Mandy to follow her and only one of them saw real success. What kind of messed up and screwed up logic is that?
