If Madonna is overrated, then what are the other pop girls?

Madonna is the biggest female pop star to have ever existed on this planet. Besides having made some excellent and forward-thinking pop music, she pushed social boundaries in the eighties and early nineties no other female in this world dared to touch even. She deserves all the praise she can get.
Her recent ways of behaviour are no reason to discredit her for this. She's an icon, a legend, the Queen Of Pop. There's no other way around it.
That is just false. Britney never revolutionized anything, she solely became huge because she was the female face of the teenpop storm in the early noughties. Nowadays she's completely dependant of her fanbase (and Jason). Mariah probably has a huge legend status in the US, no doubt about it. but she hasn't accomplished anything that could ever rival what Madonna did. Janet is the only one out of those three who actually could possibly rival her.

Yes, obviously. Her career is amazing though. And it's hilarious how a thread can't be made about Madonna without bringing up Gaga.

She was more consistent atleast. But Michaels best album, Off The Wall is better than any of Madonnas, by a VERY large margin I should add.
