I know the public is "forgetting about Gaga" but I personally think that's a good thing. It'll allow her to come back fresh and make the public fall back in love with her. At least, that's my thinking.

I think 2 years is a bit long and not good for her.

She'll be fine, it's really only been a year since "Marry the Night" peaked and the new single is due in early 2013. Either way, her massive fanbase will generate enough hype and tell more people about her release and it's sure to be covered by hundreds, even thousands of news outlets. Plus, there's the tour that will be going on in North America when the single and maybe even the album drops. When you're on top, you can afford some breaks.

I think she'll be fine. Even in her media break she's still getting tons of articles written about her. Its also not like she's sitting around not doing anything. She's on a sold out worldwide tour. She's still keeping her fanbase alive with this tour and with her touring all around the world including a lot of places she's never been which is probably growing her fanbase WW.
