Isn't the question enough clear for you? He clearly asked how many copies the album has sold and not shipped. Who even cares about shipments or uses them instead of actual sales?
It's funny, no matter how much confirmation we have about the sale numbers, the haters will still try to discredit Gaga. It happened with the tour, it happened with the perfume, and now with her albums.

BTW's shipments are 8 (or 9?) million in 2011 according to Interscope and Billboard and SALES in 2011 were 6.8M according to Universal. If those numbers are "shipments" too then every other album's #'s on this list are shipments as well. Gaga isn't some special exception.
