In a Thursday report from HollywoodLife.com, courtesy of HollyScoop.com, reports state that music stars Rihanna and Chris Brown will wed on New Year’s Eve.
The report, while maybe shocking at first, shouldn’t be completely overlooked given just how close the former couple is again becoming.
Having been separated from one another since February of 2009 following a domestic violence incident, Brown and Rihanna were spotted together in New York in early October and have since seemed to be getting closer by the day.
The proof has come in the form of revealing Instagram photos, gifts from Brown to Rihanna in honor of her first #1 album on Billboard, and even images of them together overseas on his “Carpe Diem” tour.
Other news indicates that Rihanna has invited Chris to come with her to Barbados for the holidays, suggesting that rumors would point towards a possible marriage in her native land.
Brown’s “Carpe Diem” tour is set to wrap up tonight in Paris, and from there he will likely be meeting up with Rihanna upon his return to America.

Sources have told Hollywood Life that fans may not have long to wait, as the couple are allegedly planning on attending the Grammy Awards together in February.
"That’s what it’s looking like. They already trying to figure that s**t out. Rihanna wants to go together and he’s on board. Ain’t no hiding nothing anymore, all they s**t out and in the open," a source told the website.
"They both congratulated each other on their nominations. Rihanna told that him ‘Don’t trip on anything, you got this’ and Chris was like ‘Thanks baby, I know.'"
"Chris wants her to win just as much as he wants to win," the insider added.
It's possible the couple could confirm their relationship with a performance of their new collaboration 'Nobodies Business,' which features on RiRi's latest album, Unapologetic.
Sounds like we're in for a treat come February!
