Yeah Femme Fatale and Blackout are her two strongest and best produced albums by far. No other album she has released are as cohesive or streamlined together. Yeah the album doesn't have the same highs through out but it all fits greatly. They both belong to be placed among her best works. Circus fits right in with her first three efforts in terms of variations, sounds and safety.

The reason the singles flopped in the UK is purely due to the non radio play.
Hiam started out great on radio when it was first released then they suddenly stopped playing it
which lead to not playing the subsequent singles.
The main reason they suddenly stopped playing Hiam is due to the way it was released to itunes.
Hiam was the first major song to be released to itunes around the same time it was released to radio.
This was a threat to the power uk radio had due to singles only being released after weeks of radio airplay. They retaliated by blackballing her entire era.
It's different now but wasn't back then as it was the first time they were confronted with it.
