it´s the same songs on both discs, one is in country-style...one is pop-style....therefore it doesn´t count.
still, it´d of course sell a whole lotta more....

hmm, i was just regurgitating what I read here. Nevertheless, calling this album a flop just spotlights how delusional and in denial you actually are. B2B had a great run! No, it didn't sell 1 billion copies. But no one was expecting it to. Well, except for maybe you and a few others I guess.

I think B2B had a good run altogether. I mean, in total it has sold 1.5 million copies in the US and 4 million copies WW which is awesome. Futhermore, people seem to forget that this is a DOUBLE ALBUM!!! Double albums historically sell fewer copies then single disc, yet Aguilera has managed to sell more with this album then most do with their single LPs. In fact, B2B is the biggest selling doulble album by a female artist to date. Combine all of that with her monster tour, and Aguilera did EXCEPTIONALLY well with B2B!

xtina fans are pathetic
up!: 5.5 million albums sold in usa,14 million worldwide
up! in one disc is way more long than both shittina cd's together [time]
Stadium Arcadium usa sales 2,097,411

Haha.
I sometimes forget how much of an impact album sales have on the actual music with most of the posters on ATRL. Can any of you people sit back and enjoy an album without worrying how much it sold? Björk was mentioned, so apparently it's not simply "poor" album sales--it's declining album sales. Okay.
nine inch nails, for example, haven't even hit 500k with Year Zero, but it's damn good. This is the same band behind "Closer" and "Head Like a Hole". Just like NIN, Christina can't match her previous success: so what? I don't give a **** about her music and I haven't listened to Back to Basics--I have no desire to, but why is everyone using 1.5 million as an insult?
We're in a time where less than 200k is usually enough for a #1 debut. Like the few in this thread who actually have a brain--if an artist sells more than 1 million, that's great, I consider that very successful today. However, I could care less about sales. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the music. Wow, imagine that! I know I'm not the only one refusing to lose sleep over my favorite artists "flopping", but come on.
Sadly, this isn't going to open the eyes of complete idiots like Cesar, but I still wanted to vent.

Yes it could have. The album isn't that long.
The first disc is hott. The second disc kills all of the momentum with those slow gloomy and boring songs like "Hurt".

maybe I was misinformed about B2B outselling any other double album, i'm not afraid to admit that. But that still doesn't equate to B2B being a flop! Your opinions are without a doubt biased due to your obvious obsessive and unwarranted hate towards Xtina!

THANK YOU! And once again, "Back to Basics" is still in people's mouths. Once again, if this album was such a flop, why is it in your mouths nearly a year after its release?
And wasn't "Up" released during a time when I-Tunes and declining record sales was almost unheard of?
There are a few pathetic people, and I won't mention any names, you know who you are. You make yourselves look like fools by hating Christina over and over again. If you can't stand her, why talk about her. Jesus Christ, just SHUT THE F.UCK UP already, no one cares.

numbers people numbers...
if you research there is a pattern...
first worlwide album xtina sales: 14 million
First usa sales of "some " artist:14 million
Stripped WW sales:9 million
Second some artist usa album sales:9 million[debuted selliung 1.3 million]
b2b ww album sales: 4 million
Some Artist third album usa sales: 4 milion[debuted selling more than 740K]
If this artist sold 3 million albums of her last studio album , will christina only woul sell 3 million albums next time worldwide?

:stupid:
You make no sense. And if you're trying to say she's selling less with each album...hello, times are changing. And you're ****ing idol Britney is doing the same thing, so STFU, you suck.

Nevermind I know what you're trying to say. Britney's third album which sold 4 million in the US in 2001 sold as much as Christina sold with her third album worldwide in 2006. Get a better point. And like I said, every other artist (including your PRECIOUS Britney) is doing the same thing. If anyone's sales are declining rapidly with each album, it's Britney Spears (nothing against Britney because I do like her...hey STAN, isn't it AMAZING that I can like both Brit and Christina? I bet you're just amazed...how can it be! ). So STFU already, and yes, you still suck.
