You're acting like a complete moron. How sad, finally a real bjork fan in the forums and now this :-\ . I didn't see this coming.
I love Bjork but she hasn't surpased Rihanna's first week sales in a month or more she's been running on the charts so, honestly that should shut you up.

Music is coming to a severe end, in originality, and Christina did do something original instead of following behind producing with Timbaland or Pharrell or Danja, and all those others overly used producers. Now you can take Fergie out of the situation because she also produced an original album, excluding "London Bridge" which was obviously a pull in to buy the CD , but every other song has some kind of original style from Fergie herself, not some made up style by Timbaland to sell and have hit singles. But in all reality she is only 400,000 copies from coming close to everyone else, but it is obvious RCA are moving slow with Xtina. Only three singles, but Fergie's on her fourth, Nelly's on her fifth, so is Justin, and Xtina doesn't have the same fan base as she did 5 years ago apparantly because she is over 2 million off from sales of "Stripped".
Again I'm not trying to begin an argument.

Christina didn't sell as usual and everyone say it's a flop, come on. Madonna sold around 1.5 millions with her last album in the US, and only 2 of her 4 singles charted, giving her a top 20 with Hung Up and Sorry reached the 80 spot i believe. I don't think anything over a million is a flop and i think that's pretty obvious.

i personally think that anything over 500,000 copies is not a flop cause it is being certified as a gold record...

unnecessary comment....björk is not about selling millions (though she´s successful) ...she can and will not be compared with these artists in chartdiscussions....and britney still sells alot, wheter one may like it or not, a new fight is not needed

Exactly
Gold means the record company isn't losing any money
Platinum means they're winning money.

and yes....the biggest flop is the record-sales themselves...if you´re not carrie underwood, nickelback or rascal flatts
everything over a million for an established star is good, and 500k is equally good for a less established star....

LOL that's not a fact, that was only a stupid comment
Tho i heard once on the tv that only 1 multiplatinum album can make enough money to save the investments from 10 that flopped. And that is a fact, it has nothing to do with this tho so i'll shut up.

I wasn't trying to diss Madonna, i still think 1.6 million in the US isn't a flop.

Yes, I can say it sucks, I bought it (I don't even know what the hell I was thinking) and thank God I don't own it any more. I'm not surprised, it deserves it, seriously.
"Confessions on a Dance Floor" sold 1.6 M thanks to "Hung Up" (strong digital downloads).
Clear Channel radio stations have been boycotting all Madonna's singles since 2003, that's all I have to say.

First of all Is Bjork in a competition with Riri the little dog??? NO!!!!
Bjork's album wasn't mean to sell like hot cakes, unlike other artists' albums

I think B2B had a good run altogether. I mean, in total it has sold 1.5 million copies in the US and 4 million copies WW which is awesome. Futhermore, people seem to forget that this is a DOUBLE ALBUM!!! Double albums historically sell fewer copies then single disc, yet Aguilera has managed to sell more with this album then most do with their single LPs. In fact, B2B is the biggest selling doulble album by a female artist to date. Combine all of that with her monster tour, and Aguilera did EXCEPTIONALLY well with B2B!
