The Grammy's better backup Gaga this time around, they owe her for constant snubbing 2 years in a row

more people that I know have gained a positive attitude towards Gaga thanks to her activism and foundation activities. I've seen general acceptance of her as a person go up, not down, and nearly everyone accepts her as a real musician these days and not just a pop tart, even if they don't personally like her music.

Oh my god! I just realized im seeing Gaga next month

I think what she's doing now is for the better of her career in the long-run.
She's building a structure and a backup bone to lean on and it's a smart career plan to follow
I mean imagine if someone like Rihanna starts sinking with music, what will her backup plan be :rolleye:.

At least Gaga built a foundation to support herself and still be relevent even though if it's not musically anymore.

she'll always be relevant at some level musically as long as she wants to be, even if she decided to quit being a pop star and start branching out into jazz or rock or whatever. Her name is known, people know her talent, she'll always have an audience even if at some point it's not as the "#1" pop star, whatever "#1" really means. In fact I think after ARTPOP she should do an acoustic piano album, and I bet it would do very very well and be massive grammy bait. I hope the duets album with Tony gets done as well. I love electro-Gaga but I don't want her pigeonholed as purely an electro-pop artist. Her longtime career is more assured by showing her versatility, which sets her far above her contemporaries.

The whole "Born This Way" thing will help her in the long run. It makes her stand out and seem more special. If the first single is good and catchy to be commercially successful, I don't think we have anything to worry about. Come on Queen! Slay us!

Preforming at the grammys will be tough. As stated before, she's got 2 shows in Toronto the night before, and one in Montreal the night after.

So I wouldn't get your hopes up.

How did the grammys snub her this year though? She didn't even release any new music. Wasn't Marry the Night the only song she could've been up for?

She wasn't because she didn't submit anything. Gaga wants to move on from BTW, not continue it.
