Damn @ all the Nicki anger in here though.
Nicki made a damn good, meaningful record with PF and it did fantastically.
Her ego got even more inflated and she got pop hungry, hence PF:RR and TRU (lyrically).
The next album will be a return to form, no worries.
Thought this was common sense?

I'm happy with where Onika is at now mentally. I just can't get over how stupid he was earlier this year. So damn stupid for thinking anything off the second half of that album would do anything for her brand. Super Bass made her a star not Starships. She could have had a really great pop follow up single to that but she ****ed up her respectability with that entire second half. I love her for reverting back though. It's never too late.

Like all Nicki has talked about this year was how hard PF was to make, how much pressure she felt, how the production for the album was not fun at all and how she decided just to have fun with PF:RR because of that and because she could since PF was successful.
She's made it clear since day 1 that this would be temporary and y'all are acting like Nicki will never make meaningful songs again or will continue doing pop like Starships and PTA.
I've said it since May: the next album will be far more like PF than PF:RR. And with Nicki's heightened visibility thanks to this era, she can make a record a la PF and actually get Grammy recognition.
