Same here, which is why I don't like touching unless I'm tickling them or squeezing their pressure points. I rarely ever get to do those things because the situation is rarely right. When I'm drunk, it's a completely different story. I flirt with women a lot and I'm touchy feely.

Hugging is definitely awkward. It's not something I care to do with my friends.

Affection is a really awkward thing altogether...

I do the same thing with most people, minus the hugging.

This used to be me from the ages of 10 - 20. I was so emotionally detached. People thought I was coming off as a bitch or mean so I decided to make minor changes.

A relationship makes it harder not to show affection, which is why I'm currently not in one even though I want to be.

My gay & straight friends I fondle their balls rather often.

But really I usually try to push people away. Some of my female friends are way too grabby for my liking, always looking to hug (well that's a lot of them), hold hands, sit on my lap, have me put my arm around them in movies, it's all just too much. Not your boyfriend.

If I enjoy being around you, I can't stop smiling. I show affection best if I laugh at you when I look at you not because you're being funny but just because I'm enjoying myself & think of stuff that's happened before, etc.

Which is why I have a hard time talking to people who are uptight.
