Wasn't a bad year tbh. I will be able to make Top 100 this year. Last year I only managed Top 50.

I think new talent did well but hitmakers like Dr. Luke and Max have become complacent and repetitive. They need to be overhauled lest they step it up.

I enjoyed that mashup. Much better than the DJ Earworm ones or whoever does the usual yearly mashup.

Some of the song's instrumentals with other songs were really good too
Call Me Maybe sounded awesome on Domino's instrumental

No, you're far from the only one, but since we are on ATRL, which is dominated by pop gurls' stans, you just see the opinion that 2012 is the worst year more often.

2012 was the best year since 2008 imo. It's not the best, but it had some good songs, and slightly more variety compared to the past few years.

2009 and 2011 were the WORST years ever, and I don't think it'll ever get as bad as that again. I'm very excited for 2013, I feel it'll be a good year.

I use maybe 3-4 songs out of these

I actually really liked the Boyfriend/ Rack City mashup in the middle, even though I'm not particularly fond of either song.

And yeah, I thought this year was pretty damn good when it comes to the pop charts.

I thought 2012 was a great year for music. Indie music finally broke through, allowing countless hits from alternative artists to smash, we got a new pop girl, and a bunch of new indie girls. I'd say it was a pretty good year for music in general
