No matter who Simon gets on the show, it won't save the ratings. The show is past its sell-by date. It peaked in 2010, and now people are simply losing interest. The format has become stale, and everything has become predictable.
It's hilarious how far Simon has fallen in just a few short years.
Two years ago XF had massive ratings in the UK and he was returning to America with the OMG BIGGEST SHOW IN THE WORLD EVARRRR. Now, he doesn't have the same pull in either country as he used to and XF is flopping in both.
Its not Cheryl missing that killed the show it was the very much obvious fixing of the results and the gimmick acts added for no reason other then to make headlines nothing can save it now
I'd be here for this. Not only is Nicole great, but the dynamic between Cheryl and Nicole would be really interesting.
And lets not forget Louis, he and Cheryl seem to have fallen out since she left and he has been slagging her off quite a bit, so I could see them constantly sparring.
If Gary stays it would be good too as he and Cheryl are good friends.
