The key holder in Colombia who got to hear new songs was told that by Gaga. She said she wanted to wait because she wanted to focus on album promo and it's too hard to do that and a tour at the same time.
To me, it feels like she doesn't want to overlap eras, she wants to completely end BTW before moving onto ARTPOP, which is a good idea, in my opinion.
