What genre would you classify Avril Lavigne as:
Pop
Pop-Rock
Pop-Punk
Rock
Punk
I personally classify Avril Lavigne as POP-Punk
(pop with influences of punk music in songs like Sk8er Boi, He Wasn't, Girlfriend, and even Smile) but definitely not a strictly pop artist. What do you think?

she is a pop artist.
there is no such think as pop punk, because punk goes against the aesthetics of pop.
