if you're couponing for the pure essence of saving money then that doesn't make you a hoarder unless you coupon and then excessively buy because you can get it for cheaper.
I don't know how they pull it off though, there's usually a limit on the amount of coupons you can use.
Most stores limit coupon doubling but not coupon usage. So as long as you have a seperate coupon for each item you can do that. And if you have two people shopping with you just get two reciepts.
I mean I've watched the show, and I think they like the power and the rush of getting a whole bunch of items and seeing the price drop drastically, I think that's when it turns into hoarding imo.
However some people just like to save money which is not a bad thing.
I do use coupons in an extreme way to get a few free stuff at the drug stores. It's kinda hard to keep up from time to time but it's fun. I actually recommend doing this because I feel people are over paying for the necessities like toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant when you can get them for free.
The problem I have with it is that if you base it on the show they do hoard items
That has more to do with addictive personalities and deep rooted issues with the family, but I think what happens is they start out couponing and then certain things trigger them to become obsessive about it. Maybe a drastic family matter?
Watching that show makes me want to get all the coupons and BOOK it to ther nearest Kroger/Harris Fleeter (Food Kitty & Walmart doesn't do coupon doubling)
I know at target where I work it doesn't matter if you have 30 coupons for 20 of the same deoderants you can only use 4. It's a family size limit now. Well technically you can use one target coupon and one manufacturer coupon but it's still only for four deodorants

Probably. I mean who has 40 hours a week to find and cut coupons ??? Not me
